Background
The Power Station of Art project called for a storage box that could be assembled with very few processes. The structure responds with exposed material, visible staples and embossed graphics.
Formed with Staples
The box avoids complex die-cut locking and adhesive assembly. Staples secure the folded grey card quickly, creating a stable lid-and-base structure with fewer production steps.

Visible fasteners make the construction method part of the design language.
Embossed Graphic Texture
Laminated grey card provides the required thickness, while blind embossing introduces a pattern that can be read by touch as well as sight. Small black text keeps the surface disciplined.

Relief replaces colour as the main visual memory point.
Finished Packaging
The finished storage box feels direct, durable and interactive. Its uncomplicated assembly supports lower energy use while giving the object a distinct industrial character.

Outcome
Efficient construction made visible.
This project turns staples, grey card and embossing into a coherent packaging system suited to museums, archives and cultural products.
